In view of COVID pandemic administration on Saturday officially cancelled annual Machail Mata pilgrimage in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. "As religious congregation is not allowed as per guidelines and SOPs in view of Corona pandemic, the Machail Yatra this year asof now has been cancelled," Rajinder Singh Tara, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar here told UNI.
He said that the Yatra was scheduled to begin from July 25 to September 5 and added, "our officers have reached to the temple where traditional prayers and 'hawana' is being performed."
